About searching
Looking for something specific? You have several searching
options:
Search the entire site
You can search the entire site at any time. Type a keyword
in the text box located at the top right of your screen, click
the GO button adjacent to the text box, and you will be served
links to all relevant information.
Search the Composite Catalog
You have several options to search the Composite Catalog for
sellers' products and services. You can search by:

product or service type
• company name
• brand name
For example, if you would like to know about subsea production
systems, just select "Product/Service" and type in "subsea
production." You will be served an alphabetical listing of
suppliers who carry that product from which to choose. Clicking
on a supplier name will lead you to their Composite Catalog
entry, where you can obtain information on that product.
Search the online World Oil magazine
To find a specific article, you may search all issues by keyword.
You may also browse archived magazines by date from the pulldown
in the left column. Additionally, you may access relevant
articles while searching the Composite Catalog. You will be
served links to World Oil magazine articles, charts or graphs
that relate to the product or service you entered. These links
will appear on appropriate search results pages (i.e. supplier
listing).
Search the Industry Directory
If you are looking for contact information for a particular
company, visit the Industry Directory. You can either search
by company name or browse by our alphabetical listing.
Search for a Rig
To find the rig you need and where it's located, you can browse
our Marine Rig Locator in three ways:
• by rig type
• by rig name
• by rig owner

Online subscription and subscription renewal
You can become a subscriber at any time by clicking on the
"subscribe" button in the left navigation column. Your subscription
should be processed within 6 weeks. To renew your subscription
or change your mailing address, click on the "customer service"
button in the left column. You will have the option to do
either task from a link within the main content area.
Requesting reprints
To request custom article reprints, photocopies, and ad reprints,
click on the "customer service" button in the left column.
You will have the option to request reprints from a link within
the main content area.
Advertising in World Oil
You can access Advertising Contacts and the current issue's
Advertisers Index at the bottom portion of the left column.
Writing for World Oil
Our Author's Guidelines, accessible from the lower portion
of the left column, provides information on preparing and
