The Authors:
Dr. Boyun Guo, PhD, is a highly respected petroleum engineering author and has written numerous books and papers on natural gas and petroleum engineering, including The
Air and Gas Drilling Manual and Offshore Pipelines. He received his PhD from New Mexico Tech and is a professor of petroleum engineering at the University of Louisiana at
Lafayette. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and serves as the technical editor for several committees and journals.
Dr. Ali Ghalambor, PhD, is a professor of petroleum engineering at the University of Louisiana in Lafayette. He has served on the Society of Professional Engineers Board
of Directors and was a recipient of the SPE Distinguished Achievement Award for Petroleum Engineering Faculty. He has authored more than 100 scholarly papers, journal
articles and books.
